Join me, Gillian, in the art of 3D Wet Felting – where creativity meets craftsmanship, and in just one day, you'll craft a stunning handmade felt bag, cushion, pot or cosy, that reflects your unique style!
Come and spend the day in our colourful inspirational studio above The Gilliangladrag Fluff-a-torium in Dorking, and learn how to wet felt a 3D shape which is completely seamless! No sewing is required (apart from one seam if you make a cushion.)
Choose any colours (we have over 70 to choose from) and any small - medium shape.
If there's time I will show you how to make felt handles for a shoulder bag, or a pompom or felt ball for a tea cosy, cushion or clutch bag.
Teacher Gillian is the author of "Complete Feltmaking"; Carnival of Felting", "Felting Fabulous Flowers" and "Easy Stuff to Make with Fluff" and has been teaching Felting for over 20 years. She is also the owner of The Fluff-a-torium!
*Felting course notes are provided for you to take away with you afterwards, and there are a maximum of 6 places on the felting course.
*All wool and materials are provided, along with tea, coffee and afternoon cake :-)
*In addition you will be entitled to 10% off in the shop on the day of your course!
Full Day Felting Courses run from 10am - 4pm and cost £95

Booking a place on one of our courses is similar to booking a seat on a plane. It is not possible to swap and cancel and the "the plane must take off!"
Therefore should you need to cancel your place on a course for any reason, the cancellation charges are as follows:
Cancellation within 31+ days of course date = 50% of course fee payable unless place is re-filled.
Cancellation within 0-30 days of course date = 100% of course fee payable unless place is re-filled.
(Sometimes courses are over subscribed so we hold a waiting list and MAY be able to re-fill a place, but if you are unable to attend you are welcome to send someone in your place. Please let us know your replacement's name, phone number and email address as soon as possible before the course date.)
You can buy separate Course Insurance Cover from various companies online if you would
like to protect yourself against no attendance. (Eg : Cancelsure Insurance)
Overnight Accomodation & Local Places to Stay:
Dorking is a lovely market town with lots of interesting shops and restaurants.
Our favourite places to stay that we recommend locally are:
1) The Waltons B&B (walking distance from the shop and in town)
2) Denbies Vineyard B&B (a longer walk or short drive from the shop just out of town in our famous Dorking Vineyard)
3) Stylehurst Farm B&B (6 mile drive away in the Surrey countryside on a farm)
