Sajou Fabric Fat Quarter Set : 3 x Coquecigrues
$28.00
New!
Three beautiful pieces of 'Coquecigrues' fabric, - the main floral motif and two coordinates which are stripes and checks and go together brilliantly!
A bit of history -the 'Coquecigrues' motif is one of the famous motifs printed in the Oberkampf Manufactory, in Jouy France. It is take from Sajou's spectacular pattern dedicated to the history of Toile de Jouy fabrics from the Museums and Heritage Collection. This motif is an interpretation of their Coquecigrues motif, which was a cotton fabric printed around 1790-1800. Interestingly - the Coquecigrue is a fantasy animal made up of no less than a cockerel, a crane and a stork!
This is a great and cost effective way of you buying and enjoying a selection of these lovely Sajou fabrics, and is perfect for your smaller projects or for patchwork.
Makes a lovely gift :-) xx
