My Wet Felt Slippers Course is back! :-)

What? 
Learn to make your own pair of fabulously warm, soft, felt slippers with me Gillian Harris - author of "Complete Feltmaking"; Carnival of Felting" ; "Felting Fabulous Flowers" and  "Easy Stuff to Make with Fluff"! The Felt Slippers course runs from 10am - 4pm.

Where? Held in my studio at The Gilliangladrag Fluff-a-torium premises in Betchworth Surrey. Free onsite parking. Map at foot of homepage.

What's included? My Slipper Felting Course includes :

• 1 x  pair of polystyrene shoe lasts in your size. These are yours to keep after the course and can be re-used to make more slippers afterwards! :-)
  
• All the merino wool tops you'll need for your felt slippers
  
• Tea, Coffee, refreshments + afternoon tea and cake
• 10% off in the shop on the day of your felting course - you may wish to buy felt soles, suede soles and further wool tops etc! Plus we have lots of other goodies xx

We will felt the slippers until they are nearly finished and then you will take them home to "full" and spin them in your washing machine. I will also outline how to make a felt rose or felt flower to adorn the fronts of your felt slippers as well!

NB: Maximum students is 6 on this course.

How much does it cost? £120 (inclusive of VAT)

Slipper Last Sizes :
Slipper lasts come in double euro sizing. They are quite roomy - but remember to go up a size if you are unsure - as you can felt the finished slippers down to shrink - but not the other way around! A British 5-6 is a Euro 38/39 so if you are usually a large 6 or a 6.5 when you buy shoes, then go up to the 40/41

NB : These sizings are very APPROXIMATE!

Booking a place on one of our courses is similar to booking a seat on a plane. It is not possible to swap and cancel and the "the plane must take off!"
Therefore should you need to cancel your place on a course for any reason, the cancellation charges are as follows:

Cancellation within 31+ days of course date = 50% of course fee payable unless place is re-filled.
Cancellation within 0-30 days of course date = 100% of course fee payable unless place is re-filled.
(Sometimes courses are over subscribed so we hold a waiting list and MAY be able to re-fill a place, but if you are unable to attend you are welcome to send someone in your place. Please let us know your replacement's name, phone number and email address as soon as possible before the course date.)

You can buy separate Course Insurance Cover from various companies online if you would like to protect yourself against no attendance. (Eg : Cancelsure Insurance)
