Sajou Cross Stitch Cushion Kit : Coquecigrues

Wow the colours! :-) This is a fabulous rectangular cushion kit, which you can embroider in cross stitch with the historical French 'Coquecigures' motif - which is one of the famous motifs printed in the Oberkampf Manufactory, in Jouy France!

An absolute work of art when it's finished!

Interesting fact : This pattern is dedicated to the history of 'Toile de Jouy' fabrics, from the Museums and Heritage Collection. The Coquecigrue is a fantasy animal, made up of a combination of a cockerel, a crane and a stork! Who knew!? ;-) x

This 'complete' kit contains everything necessary to make a small cushion, including the backing fabric, BUT you will need your own needles, and you will need to add your own cushion pad at the end.

Contents:

• Off-white linen fabric, 35 x 25cm which you'll embroider onto
  
• 100% beautiful cotton Sajou fabric 35 x 25cm for back (may vary but always 100% gorgeous!)
  
• Retors du Nord embroidery floss card in the following colours: 2034, 2302, 2332, 2536 and 2876; 2005, 2007, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2028, 2033, 2038, and 2749
  
• A sweet Sajou “Créé par moi” label ( which means 'made by me' in French)
• A full colour pattern chart to work from
