Nuno Felting means felting onto fabric, and Nuno is the Japanese word for fabric.
As the wool fibres felt and shrink, the fabric begins to smock and change shape.
Fabrics suitable for nuno felting are slightly open weave. Silk Chiffon works particularly well and looks great with the wool.
You will also require some regular wet felting equipment for nuno felting.
