During COVID-19 lockdown UPDATE:
We are still dispatching with the Royal Mail 3 times a week and are shipping worldwide - although have been advised shipping times may be longer than usual so thanks for your patience!
Outside the UK : Some countries are not accepting parcels in, so please check your country before ordering if you're abroad here.
The advice is to STAY HOME and have your order delivered by Royal Mail please! If you are local and need to collect an order urgently, you can use the code LOCAL at checkout to remove the shipping cost, but this isn't ideal and we'd need your phone number so we can arrange a time for collection.
We aim to despatch your parcel within 2 working days. Parcels more than often leave next working day after we receive your order. If something is out of stock or we cannot despatch your parcel straight away we will contact you by phone or email as soon as we can.
UK shipping starts at £2.95 and is calculated based on the weight of your parcel. Shipping costs are tiered, so sometimes it may be possible to add more to your order without increasing the shipping cost.
European shipping costs start at £3.95
US Canada & Worldwide : If you are ordering a lot of heavy stuff and live outside of Europe, sometimes it's cheaper to make two separate orders, as international shipping over 2kg can be very expensive. If you need help or advice please email.
UK : Parcels are usually sent Royal Mail 2nd class which take 2-3 working days. These will be delivered by your postman, who should put a card through your door if you are out. If your UK parcel hasn't arrived within 7-10 days and you have no card, it is important that you check the local sorting office to see if your parcel has been left there for you. If your parcel is not collected from a sorting office within 2 weeks of it arriving it will be returned to us and you will have to pay further postage to have it re-sent.
Europe: Parcels are sent Royal Mail International and tend to take roughly 5 working days.
Worldwide: International shipping is also sent via Royal Mail.approximately 7-10 working days, but can take longer in some parts of the world or at busy times of year.
If your order is urgent, please phone it through on +44 (0)1306 898144 and ask us to arrange 1st class delivery or Special Delivery. We can also arrange tracked shipping. We will be able to quote you for the extra amount payable and take your order over the phone.
Non Delivery :
NB: Please note that we cannot be held responsible for Royal Mail Delays due to severe weather conditions, or sheer volume of parcels - for example just before Christmas. Please allow plenty of time for delivery at busy times of the year.
If your parcel hasn't arrived in a timely manner please contact us and we will look into it for you.
Please ensure that you have provided us with the correct delivery address when placing your order. If an order is returned to us because the address given to us is incorrect, you will be responsible for paying postage again. If an order is returned to us because the package was unclaimed, you will be responsible for paying postage again.
If you live outside of the UK & Europe, your order may be subject to import taxes or levies once your package reaches your country.
You have the right to cancel within seven days of your order, or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). If you do cancel your order, you will have your payment returned. Please contact us via email to arrange this.
Please note that if you have requested bespoke lengths of cut fabric or cut ribbon - these cannot be returned as they have been cut especially for you.
Please also note that if your goods have been despatched you will be responsible for the return of those goods to us at your own cost and initial shipping charges will also not be refunded.
- Requests for EXCHANGES must be made within 7 days of receipt, and goods must be returned in UNUSED condition and original packaging within seven days. Please note that postage costs will be incurred.
- Customers are responsible for return postage on returns & exchanges and are responsible for the goods until they reach us, - INSURED trackable return mail is suggested.
Every care is taken to ensure that all the descriptions on the site are correct. Photographs of goods are as accurate as we can get them, but due to variations in colour and the nature of the digital image, goods may vary slightly in colour from the colours displayed on your computer monitor.
