This is a lovely red and pink cross stitch cushion kit, based on an interpretation in cross stitch of the red fabric decorating the four-poster bed in the Five Queens’ Bedroom.
Quick bit of history : This bedroom is named in memory of the two daughters and three daughters-in-law of Catherine de Médicis: Queen Margot, Elisabeth of France, Marie Stuart, Elizabeth of Austria and Louise of Lorraine. So this project is derived from the large Museums and Heritage pattern chart dedicated to the Chenonceau Château. Amazing! :-)
Size of motif: 185 stitches wide by 130 stitches high.
When embroidered on 12 count (per cm) linen, the finished project measures 30.8 x 21.7cm. So the zize of finished cushion is 31 x 22cm.

- A full-colour pattern chart printed on large A3 sheet of paper
- 35 x 26cm of Azalia coloured linen embroidery fabric
- 2 Retors du Nord embroidery floss card in colour 2028
- 35 x 26cm 100% cotton "indienne" fabric in red and pink tones for the back (depending on Sajou stocks, this fabric may vary, but trust us, the end result will always be lovely!)
