What's in the Knitting Kit?

We've included everything you need (almost!) to embark on this charming knitting project:

• Knitting Pattern: A downloadable pattern for the hat, available via our fantastic Local Yarn Shop (LYS) partner, Lucky Fox Knits, on Ravelry.
• Luxury Yarn: One whole skein (140m) of our gorgeously soft and fluffy 'Luxury Alpaca Superfine' yarn. Choose between a delightful Pink or a cheerful Blue – which is your favourite?
• Circular Needles: One pair of 5mm 40cm circular knitting needles, perfect for this project.

The finished hat is designed to fit most mini dachshunds and other dogs of a similar petite stature.

What Else Will I Need?

To complete your Mini Dog Pompom Hat, you'll also require the following:

• Double Pointed Needles (DPNs): 5mm DPNs are optional if you prefer the magic loop method with your circular needles. However, you'll need at least one extra 5mm needle for a small three-needle cast-off section, whatever you are using.
• Stitch Markers: Essential for keeping track of your progress.
• Tapestry Needle: For neatly weaving in those pesky ends.
• Row Counter: To help you keep tabs on your rows (unless you have an excellent memory!).
• Measuring Tape: Just to be sure of the sizing.
• Scissors: For snipping yarn.
• Card Stock or Pompom Maker: To create the perfect pompom to top off your creation!
