This is the thickest version of Sandnes’ 100% merino wool, and because it hasn't been superwash treated, it retains that lovely, authentic "woolly" feel that we adore. We often chat in the shop about the benefits of non-superwash wool. By keeping the yarn natural and avoiding the chemical coating used in superwash treatments, the wool stays "puckered" and plump. Because it hasn't been treated, we do recommend a gentle wool cycle or a hand wash to keep your finished pieces looking their best for years to come.
