Punch Needle & Latch Hook

What IS Punch Needle? Now very much in the limelight and enjoying a revival, Punch Needle is a method of making loops through a fabric similar to Aida - often called 'Monks Cloth'. A punch needle tool is threaded with yarn, and then very simply punched through the fabric, which holds a loops of yarn in place on one side of it. By pushing the punch needle in and out, loops are formed to make the design of your choosing.
