This beautiful wool fleece is perfect for a range of projects, from delicate feltmaking to bold giant knitting creations. Each 100g bundle (approximately 4-5 metres) is a burst of sunshine waiting to be transformed.

Our Merino Wool Tops are spun from 23 micron / 64s grade fleece, offering a delightful balance of softness and durability. The bright yellow is quite acid, almost neon! A great highlight to any neutral project, or an interesting base colour in its own right!

Important Ordering Information:

Need more than 100g? Simply add the desired quantity to your basket. For example, if you require 600g, enter "6" in the quantity box before adding to your basket. Easy peasy!

Fancy one big ball? We understand that a continuous length is sometimes preferable, especially for giant knitting or crochet. If you'd like your wool to be supplied in one large ball rather than separate bags, please let us know in the "special instructions" box at checkout. We'll always do our best to accommodate your request, however there may be an occasional join in the wooltops. If this occurs, we'll be sure to include instructions on how to neatly join the ends together.

Example: If you want 2 kilos of wool, please order 20 lots of 100g and tell us you want it as one ball in the "special instructions" box at checkout.

Wool Usage Guide: How Much Do I Need?

To help you plan your projects, here's a handy guide to the approximate amount of wool tops you might need:

Felting Projects:

• Felt Slippers (pair) or Medium Felt Bag: Aim for approximately 75g each of 3 different colours. Buying three 100g bags allows for layering different felted shades.

Giant Knitting / Giant Crochet Projects:

• Smaller Cushion Front (regular size): About 500g
• Large Floor Cushion Front: Approximately 1.75kg
• Small Blanket or Throw: Approximately 2kg
• Medium Blanket or Throw: Approximately 3.5kg
• Larger Blanket or Throw: Approximately 5kg
