Dive into your next craft project with our sumptuously soft Charcoal Wool Tops! This beautiful wool fleece is perfect for both feltmaking and giant knitting adventures.

Each 100g bundle contains approximately 4-5 metres of gorgeous, dark grey merino wool. We like to think of it as nearly black, but with a touch more character. It's a truly lovely neutral that complements so many other shades.

Ordering Information:

Need more than 100g? Simply add the number of 100g units you require to your basket. For example, if you need 600g, just enter "6" in the quantity box.

Important! One Large Ball:

If you'd prefer your wool to arrive as one continuous ball, rather than in separate 100g bags, please let us know! Just add a note under "special instructions" during checkout, and we'll do our utmost to accommodate your request.

While we'll always try our best, please bear in mind that there might occasionally be a join in the wool tops. Not to worry, though – we'll include clear instructions on how to seamlessly join the wool together, especially handy for your giant knitting or giant crochet projects!

For example, if you need 2 kilos of wool, please purchase 20 x 100g lots and leave a note in the "special instructions" box asking for it to be supplied as one continuous ball.

How Much Wool Do I Need?

Here are some handy guidelines to help you estimate the amount of wool tops you'll need for your next project:

Felting:

• Felt Slippers (pair) or Medium Felt Bag: Approximately 75g of each of 3 different colours. We recommend buying 3 x 100g bags in your chosen colour palette.

Giant Knitting / Giant Crochet:

• Smaller Cushion Front (regular size): Approximately 500g
• Large Floor Cushion Front: Approximately 1.75kg
• Small Blanket/Throw: Approximately 2kg
• Medium Blanket/Throw: Approximately 3.5kg
• Large Blanket/Throw: Approximately 5kg
