How much wool do I need?

Here are some general guidelines to help you estimate the amount of wool tops required for various projects:

Felting:

For a pair of Felt Slippers or a Medium Felt Bag: Depending on the size, you'll typically need approximately 75g of each of three different colours. We recommend purchasing three 100g bags in your chosen colours to create beautiful, layered effects.

Giant Knitting / Giant Crochet:

• Smaller cushion front: Approximately 500g
• Large floor cushion front: Approximately 1.75kg
• Small blanket or throw: Approximately 2kg
• Medium blanket or throw: Approximately 3.5kg
• Large blanket or throw: Approximately 5kg
