Our wool tops are crafted from 23 micron (64s) Merino wool, known for its softness and versatility. Each 100g bundle contains approximately 4-5 metres of luxurious fibre, ready to be transformed into stunning feltwork, knitted masterpieces, or spun into your own unique yarn.

Need more than 100g? Simply adjust the quantity in your basket! For example, if you require 600g, enter "6" in the quantity box before adding to your basket.

Want it as One Big Ball?

If you'd prefer your wool in one continuous ball, please let us know in the "special instructions" section at checkout! We'll do our utmost to accommodate your request. Do bear in mind that joins can occasionally occur, but we'll include simple instructions on how to rejoin the wool seamlessly, especially useful for giant knitting or crochet projects. For example, to order 2 kilos, purchase 20 lots of 100g and request a single ball at checkout.

How Much Wool Do I Need?

Here are some handy guidelines to help you estimate the quantity of wool tops required for your projects:

Felting:

• Pair of Felt Slippers or a Medium Felt Bag: Approximately 75g each of 3 different colours. We suggest buying 3 x 100g bags in your favourite shades to create those layered effects.

Giant Knitting / Giant Crochet:

• Smaller cushion front: Approximately 500g
• Large floor cushion front: Approximately 1.75kg
• Small blanket or throw: Approximately 2kg
• Medium blanket or throw: Approximately 3.5kg
• Large blanket or throw: Approximately 5kg
