Indulge in the luxurious softness of our Cloud Merino wool tops, a beautiful choice for all your crafting needs. Cloud is the palest of greys – almost a crisp, clean grey-white, reminiscent of a gentle morning mist.

These premium wool tops are perfect for both wet and needle felting, as well as the increasingly popular techniques of giant knitting and giant crochet. The possibilities are truly endless!

Our Cloud Merino boasts a delightful 23 micron count (64s), offering a wonderful balance of softness and durability. You'll find it a pleasure to work with, whether you're a seasoned crafter or just beginning your woolly adventures.

Each 100g bundle contains approximately 4-5 metres of continuous wool top, giving you plenty to play with.

Important Ordering Information:

Need more than 100g? Simply enter the number of 100g increments you require in the quantity box. For example, if you need 600g, just type "6" before adding to your basket.

Would you prefer your wool in one continuous ball? No problem! Just let us know in the "special instructions" box during checkout. We'll always do our very best to accommodate your request.

Please be aware that occasionally there may be a join within the wool tops. Don't worry, we'll include simple instructions on how to seamlessly join the ends, especially useful for giant knitting or crochet projects.

For example, should you require 2 kilos of wool, then purchase 20 lots of 100g but leave us a message asking that it is sent as one large ball in the “special instructions” box at checkout.

Wool Top Quantity Guide

Not sure how much wool you'll need? Here are some approximate guidelines to help you plan your project:

Felting:

• Pair of Felt Slippers or a Medium Felt Bag: Approximately 75g each of 3 different colours. To achieve the different felted layers, purchase 3 x 100g bags in the colours of your choosing.

Giant Knitting / Giant Crochet:

• Smaller cushion front: Approximately 500g
• Large Floor cushion front: Approximately 1.75kg
• Small blanket or throw: Approximately 2kg
• Medium blanket or throw: Approximately 3.5kg
• Large blanket or throw: Approximately 5kg
