100g Copper Merino Wool Tops for felting & giant knitting

Indulge in the autumnal charm of our Copper Merino Wool Tops, perfect for all your crafting needs! This gorgeous wool fleece is ideal for both feltmaking and spinning, bringing a warm and rustic touch to your projects.

Each 100g bundle contains approximately 4-5 metres of beautifully soft 23-micron (64s) merino wool. The colour is a rich, coppery hue, reminiscent of fallen leaves and cosy evenings. It has a touch of "rusty" character making it perfect for Autumnal projects. It even features in our "Nicey Spicey" inspiration pack!

Ordering Information

Want more than 100g? Simply add the number of 100g units you require to your basket. For example, if you need 600g, enter "6" in the quantity box.

Important: If you'd like your wool to be supplied in one continuous ball rather than separate 100g bags, please let us know in the "special instructions" box at checkout! We'll always do our best to accommodate your request, but please be aware that sometimes there may be a join in the wool tops.

Not to worry! If there's a join, we'll include simple instructions on how to seamlessly join the wool together, particularly useful for giant knitting or giant crochet projects.

For example, if you need 2 kilos of wool, please purchase 20 lots of 100g and then just pop a note in the "special instructions" box at checkout letting us know you want it as one big ball!

How much Wool Tops will I need?

We get asked this question a lot, so here are some rough guidelines to help you estimate how much wool you'll need for your project:

Felting:

• For a pair of felt slippers or a medium felt bag: Depending on size, approximately 75g of 3 different colours. So why not treat yourself and buy 3 of our 100g bags in different colours for the different felted layers?

Giant Knitting / Giant Crochet:

• For a smaller, regular-sized cushion front: about 500g
• For a large floor cushion front: approximately 1.75kg
• For a small blanket or throw: approximately 2kg
• For a medium blanket or throw: approximately 3.5kg
• For a larger blanket or throw: approximately 5kg
