Each top is made from 23-micron / 64s merino wool, known for its softness and versatility. You'll receive approximately 100g, which translates to roughly 4-5 metres of this beautiful fibre.

Lettuce Green is a truly fresh and vibrant shade, reminiscent of springtime salads and new beginnings. It’s a cheerful colour that’s sure to bring a bit of sunshine to your makes.

Thinking about colour combinations? Lettuce Green plays wonderfully with citrus hues, grassy tones, and even softer sage greens. For a bolder statement, try pairing it with Hot Pink or Candy Pink. We think it also has a secret soft spot for Cornflower!

Important Ordering Information:

If you need more than 100g, simply adjust the quantity in your basket. For example, if you require 600g, enter "6" in the quantity box.

Do you prefer your wool in one continuous ball? No problem! Just let us know in the "special instructions" section when you check out. We will always do our very best to fulfil this request, though please be aware that occasionally there might be a join in the wool tops. Don't worry, though – we’ll include instructions on how to seamlessly join it together, especially useful for your giant knitting or giant crochet projects!

How Much Wool Tops Do I Need?

Here are some general guidelines to help you estimate the amount of wool tops you'll need for your project:

Felting:

• For a pair of felt slippers or a medium felt bag: Depending on the size, approximately 75g of each of 3 different colours is sufficient. Therefore, why not buy 3 of our 100g bags in the different colours for the individual felted layers?

Giant Knitting / Giant Crochet:

• Smaller regular sized cushion front: about 500g
• Large floor cushion front: approximately 1.75kg
• Small blanket or throw: approximately 2kg
• Medium blanket or throw: approximately 3.5kg
• Larger blanket or throw: approximately 5kg
