How Much Wool Tops Do I Need?

Here are some handy guidelines to help you estimate how much Peppermint wool tops you'll need for your project:

Felting:

• Pair of Felt Slippers or Medium Felt Bag: Approximately 75g of each of 3 different colours. Consider buying 3 of our 100g bags in complementary shades to create lovely felted layers.

Giant Knitting / Giant Crochet:

• Smaller regular sized cushion front: about 500g
• Large Floor cushion front: approx 1.75kg
• Small blanket or throw: approx 2kg
• Medium blanket or throw: approx 3.5kg
• Larger blanket or throw: approx 5kg
