How Much Wool Do I Need?

Here are some general guidelines to help you estimate the amount of wool tops you'll need for your crafting adventures:

Felting:

For a pair of felt slippers or a medium felt bag, you'll typically need around 75g of each of 3 different colours. We recommend buying 3 of our 100g bags in various colours to create beautiful felted layers.

Giant Knitting / Giant Crochet:

• Smaller cushion front: approximately 500g
• Large floor cushion front: approximately 1.75kg
• Small blanket or throw: approximately 2kg
• Medium blanket or throw: approximately 3.5kg
• Larger blanket or throw: approximately 5kg
