Fancy knitting yourself the most wonderfully cosy jumper? Our Chunky Boxy Jumper pattern from Mrs Moon is just the ticket! It's a fabulously simple pattern that's surprisingly quick to make. You'll be snuggled up in your new jumper before you know it!

This lovely, uncomplicated, chunky jumper is knitted entirely in the round, from the top down. If you've never knitted in the round before, please don't let that put you off! This pattern is ideal for knitters wanting to learn circular knitting.

Using a chunky yarn like Mrs Moon's Plump is a fantastic way of getting to grips with both dpns (double pointed needles) and circular needles - and honestly, it's the best way to manage such bulky yarn. Plus, because it's knitted in the round, there are no pesky seams or finishing to worry about!

Sizes

Available in three sizes:

S (M, L) To fit: UK dress size: 8-10 (12-14, 16-18)

Chest size: up to 90cm/35” (99cm/39”, 110cm/43”)

Tension

10 sts & 12½ rows to 10cm using 10mm needles and stocking stitch

Finished Measurements:

Chest : 104 (113, 124)cm

Length (from back neck to hem): 53(56, 58)cm

What you'll need:

• 7 (8, 9) skeins Plump (shown in peppermint cream) (more if you want a fold over neck)
• 10mm dpns for sleeves
• 10mm circular needle (60 or 80cm)
• 12mm dpns or 40cm circular needle (for neck)
• 4 ring stitch markers (Or use scraps of yarn. It’s a good idea to have two different colours, use one for the beginning of the round and a different colour for the three other markers used throughout.)
• Scraps of yarn for stitch holders
