Knitting Pattern: The Sloppy Boxy Sweater
Get ready to create a super-stylish and wonderfully cosy Sloppy Boxy Jumper! This pattern is a brilliant blend of a casual sloppy Joe and a modern, boxy silhouette, complete with a relaxed drop shoulder. The best bit? It's so quick to knit!
We're talking seriously chunky needles here – a whopping 15mm! Because of the needle size, this jumper practically flies off the needles. The construction is straightforward too. The front and back are simple rectangles, with minimal shaping just for the neckline. You'll then seam the shoulders and partially along the sides. The sleeves are picked up and knitted, and that's it – you're done!
Karen, the pattern designer, actually knitted this very jumper in under 24 hours. Now that’s what we call instant gratification!
Our lovely model is a UK size 8 and is wearing the small size.
Materials You'll Need
To knit your own Sloppy Boxy Sweater, you’ll need the following amount of Mrs Moon Plump Super Chunky yarn:
- Small: 5 skeins
- Medium: 7 skeins
- Large: 9 skeins
