Duo is that clever mix of merino wool and pima cotton - meaning this little set is breathable, non-itchy, and perfect for a baby’s sensitive skin, regardless of the season.

Available in 5 different size options from 0-12 months, this darling kit includes everything you need to create a complete three-piece outfit: a classic cardigan, comfy little pants, and a matching bonnet. What we really love about this design is how thoughtful the construction is. The button bands on the jacket are worked in one piece with the rest of the ribbing, which means—hooray!—there’s no fiddly picking up of stitches at the end. The pants are worked from the top down and use short rows at the back to make sure there's plenty of room for nappies and wiggle room. 

This kit is rated as Intermediate (3/5). It’s a fantastic project if you’re comfortable with the basics and ready to spread your wings a little with techniques like short rows and shaping a bonnet crown on double-pointed needles. The bonnet starts at the front and works back towards the crown, finished off with a neat rib edge and a cute tie.

The pattern comes with helpful videos to guide you through those more advanced techniques, like picking up stitches for the neck border.
