Gilliangladrag Holy Fluff Hand Dyed Alpaca / Silk / Cashmere : Lost in the Magical Garden
Indulge in the exquisite luxury of our hand-dyed Aran weight yarn, "Lost in the Magical Garden". I've lovingly hand-painted each skein here in my little Betchworth studio, drawing inspiration from the joy of wandering through an enchanting, overgrown garden brimming with wild botanicals and aromatic herbs.
Imagine yourself surrounded by earthy sage greens and the deep, rich hues of moss, punctuated by a delightful burst of delphinium blue. You'll also discover subtle shaded yellows, earthy dusty pinks, and the charming, slightly tipsy purple of hollyhocks. Glimpses of watery turquoise complete this symphony of colours. Just breathe it in, let it fill your senses. It really does make you feel jolly good to be alive!
The Technical Bits:
This is an Aran weight yarn, perfectly suited for a 5mm needle or hook.
Fibre Content: 70% Baby Alpaca, 20% Silk, 10% Cashmere. Honestly, this yarn is unbelievably soft. It's utterly squishable and absolutely adorable!
- 1 x 100g Skein
- 166m per 100g
- 3/5nm
- Hand Wash Only
This yarn will knit up beautifully, creating a fabric with a wonderful drape. It's incredibly soft, like being wrapped in angel's wings. I especially recommend it for projects worn next to the skin as it's just that soft.
Important Considerations:
Please remember that each skein is unique, a little piece of art in itself! The photograph gives you a good idea of the colours and overall effect you can expect, but your skein will not be an exact match. To ensure you have enough yarn for your project, it's always best to order slightly more than you think you'll need, as future dye lots will differ a little. If you're knitting a larger item, such as a jumper, I suggest alternating skeins every few rows to create a more cohesive and blended effect.
