Oh, the gloriousness of this hand-dyed kid silk lace yarn! It's just beyond words, isn't it? I absolutely adore this yarn. It's incredibly soft and simply perfect for those lightweight, summery knits. But don't be fooled, it'll also keep you wonderfully warm when you need it to. It's gorgeous stuff.

Hand-painted right here in my studio in Betchworth, this colour-way boasts a background of rich blue, beautifully complemented by a pale lilac, and then a splash of neon pink, yellow and orange and a rich sea green. Very pretty, what?

The Technical Bits:

This yarn is made up of:

• 72% Kid Mohair
• 28% Silk

It comes as a brushed skein.

Each skein contains:

• 50g
• Approximately 420m (460 yards)

This is a lace weight yarn, but you could certainly hold it double for a thicker knit, or even knit it alongside another yarn to add a touch of something special. It would make the most incredible knit, whether you're dreaming of a scarf, jumper, cardigan, or anything else that takes your fancy. And with its generous meterage, a little goes a long way!
