I've been busy here in the studio, hand-painting these wonderfully unique skeins of Holy Fluff. For "The Hills Are Alive with the Sound of Music", I start with a base of soft, pale grey.

Then comes the fun bit! I carefully fold the yarn in a special way and paint the hills directly onto it. Next, I add a touch of sunshine and a bright blue sky, finished with my own personal interpretation of the 'sounds of music'.

The result? An incredible symphony of colours that's utterly captivating. Once the skein is unwound and rinsed, these colours gently disperse, creating the most interesting and individual skein you've ever seen. I really do hope you think so!

Each skein is hand-dyed with love right here in our Dorking studio.

Imagine the possibilities! This yarn would make a truly stunning sweater (I reckon about 4 skeins, give or take, depending on your chosen pattern). Or perhaps a cosy hat, a luxurious scarf, or even a statement cushion front. Truthfully, you could use it for absolutely anything your heart desires!

The Technical Bits:

• 100% SUPERWASH Merino Wool 200g skein
• Super Chunky 1/1.5nm
• Length: Approximately 130m
• Recommended Needle or Hook Size: 10-12mm
• Approximate Tension: 4" square on 10mm needles = 9 stitches x 12 rows
