Our Orchid Merino Wooltops are perfect for all your craft projects, from wet felting and needle felting to spinning, giant knitting and giant crochet. It’s a delight to work with, and we think you'll love the results.

Orchid Details:

• 23 micron / 64s
• 100g (approximately 4-5 metres)
• Lovely soft pink with a hint of blue

Orchid is a truly versatile shade. We think it looks particularly charming when paired with lilac and pale pink, or for a subtle contrast, try it with Eau de Nil. Let your creativity flow and see what beautiful combinations you can come up with!

Ordering Information:

Need more than 100g? Simply enter the number of 100g units you require in the quantity box. For example, if you need 600g, just type "6".

If you'd prefer your wool in one continuous ball rather than separate bags, please let us know in the "special instructions" box during checkout. We will always do our best to accommodate your request.

Please note that occasionally there may be a join in the wooltops. But don't worry, we will include easy-to-follow instructions on how to seamlessly join the wool together when using it for giant knitting or giant crochet.

So, for example, if you require 2 kilos of wool, purchase 20 lots of 100g and leave a message in the "special instructions" box at checkout to let us know you would like it in one ball.

Unsure how much wool you'll need for your project? Here are some general guidelines to help you plan:

Felting:

For a Pair of Felt Slippers or a Medium Felt Bag: You'll need approximately 75g of each of 3 different colours. To achieve this, purchase 3 of our 100g bags in different colours for layering.

Giant Knitting / Giant Crochet:

• Smaller Regular Sized Cushion Front: around 500g
• Large Floor Cushion Front: approximately 1.75kg
• Small Blanket or Throw: approximately 2kg
• Medium Blanket or Throw: approximately 3.5kg
• Larger Blanket or Throw: approximately 5kg
