Indulge in the tactile joy of our Retro Red Merino Wool Tops! This beautiful wool fleece is perfect for all your feltmaking and spinning adventures. We've carefully sourced this 23-micron, 64s merino wool to ensure a soft and luxurious feel for your craft projects.

Each 100g portion contains approximately 4-5 metres of this gorgeous red wool. The colour is a delightful throwback – a proper 50s shade that’s guaranteed to add a touch of vintage charm to your creations. We think you'll find it very nice indeed!

Ordering Information:

Need more than 100g? Simply add the required number to your basket. For example, if you need 600g, just type "6" in the quantity box before adding to your basket. Easy peasy!

Want your wool in one continuous length? We're happy to oblige! Just let us know in the "special instructions" box at checkout that you'd prefer it in one large ball. While we'll always do our best, please bear in mind that occasionally there might be a join in the wool tops. Don't worry – we'll include simple instructions on how to join it together seamlessly, especially useful for giant knitting or giant crochet projects.

For example, if you fancy a generous 2 kilos of wool, purchase 20 lots of 100g and then pop a note in the "special instructions" box at checkout requesting it as a single ball.

How Much Wool Tops Do I Need?

To help you plan your projects, here are some approximate guidelines:

Felting:

• For a Pair of Felt Slippers or a Medium Felt Bag: Depending on size, approximately 75g of each colour. Therefore, why not treat yourself and buy 3 of our 100g bags in different colours for creating beautiful felted layers.

Giant Knitting / Giant Crochet:

• Smaller Cushion Front: about 500g
• Large Floor Cushion Front: approx 1.75kg
• Small Blanket or Throw: approx 2kg
• Medium Blanket or Throw: approx 3.5kg
• Larger Blanket or Throw: approx 5kg
