We're so excited about Terrazzo, Scheepjes' first fully recycled yarn! This lovely warm shade, 740 Piuma, is crafted from a premium blend of breathable fibres, boasting fantastic eco credentials.
Made with 70% Recycled Mulesing Free Wool and 30% Recycled Viscose, Terrazzo is a yarn you can feel good about using. Plus, to reassure you that it's safe and free from nasty chemicals, it holds the trusted OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification. Ace!
This felted tweed yarn has a truly luxurious look and feel. It drapes beautifully, is lightweight, and wonderfully warm. The subtly speckled colour effect, like a terrazzo floor, comes from twisting fibres of contrasting and complementary colours together. We think it's rather brilliant.
