Sold by the metre: 100% Woven Cotton Deckchair Canvas, 45cm wide, with a selvedge on both sides. This delightful 'Lido' colour-way was even featured in the television series 'Downton Abbey'!
Looking for a proper, good quality canvas? This is it! It's just brilliant for all sorts of projects. We think it's particularly good for:
- Recovering your trusty wooden deckchairs and directors chairs. (You'll need around 1.5 metres to create a sling for a standard Brighton beach-style wooden deckchair!)
- Creating lovely home accessories like cushions, seat cushions, and covers to brighten up your space.
- Making stylish table runners and table mats for a touch of handmade charm.
- All sorts of sewing and craft projects! Think tote bags, festive bunting, handy make-up bags, and practical sewing bags.
Fabric Details:
- Width: 45cm, with a neat finished selvedge on both sides.
- Composition: 100% WOVEN Cotton (looks the same on both sides).
- Canvas Weight: 250gsm – it's sturdy and strong, but still flexible enough to sew easily.
- Care Instructions: Gentle cold wash or hand wash recommended. Please, oh please, do NOT tumble dry! (It will shrink, and we don't want that.)
Ordering is easy! Just add the number of metres you need to your basket. We'll cut your fabric in one continuous length, so you don't have to worry about joining pieces.
