About :

We are absolutely bursting with excitement to host our new Wool Hand Embroidery on Knitting workshop. There is a certain kind of magic that happens when you combine the squishy texture of wool with the delicate art of embroidery. Whether it’s a tiny sprig of lavender on a cuff or a bold, blooming garden across a cardigan, adding hand-stitched details is the ultimate way to make your wardrobe uniquely you.

We are so incredibly lucky to have the wonderful Beth Cole leading this session. Beth is a truly esteemed embroidery teacher who has worked on garments for the likes of Burberry and Alexander McQueen, so she really knows her way around a needle! Under her expert and patient guidance, you’ll discover how to work with the "give" of knitted fabric, ensuring your stitches sit perfectly on top of the wool without pulling or puckering. It’s an authentic, slow-craft skill that breathes new life into everything from hats and gloves to your favourite well-worn sweaters.

Elevate your knits to a whole new level

This workshop is designed for everyone - whether you’re a Beginner, Intermediate, or a Confident stitcher. You don't even need to be a master knitter to join in; simply bring along a knitted garment (it can be something you’ve lovingly made yourself or even a favourite shop-bought find that needs a bit of love!) and we will show you how to adorn and elevate it.

We provide a warm, encouraging space where you can experiment with different wools and techniques. You’ll leave not just with a beautiful piece of work in progress, but with the confidence and enthusiasm to go home and "adorn" every knitted item you own! (Trust us - it's infectious!)  It’s all about the joy of the process and the satisfaction of seeing your own floral designs come to life, stitch by stitch. We’ll have the kettle on and the inspiration ready - all we need is you!

• Tuition from Beth Cole from The Royal School of Needlework, to help you embroider your item using wool
• Lots of different wools to choose from and design options

What you need to bring:

• Bring something knitted you'd like to embroider with some beautiful hand stitched wool embroidery.

About our Floral Hand Embroidery teacher Beth Cole :
Beth Cole studied a degree in Hand Embroidery at the Royal School of Needlework. She graduated in 2018, and is now freelance for the likes of Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Beaumont & Fletcher and many more fashion, film and interior companies. 
Her focus is beautiful floral embroidery. Breathing new life into old items, Beth works from her studio in West London.

NB: Maximum students is 6 on this Wool Hand Embroidery on Knitting Course.
This Wool Hand Embroidery on Knitting Workshop runs from 10am - 4pm (with a break for lunch) and costs £95

Other Information & Housekeeping :

• There is free parking outside - we will show you where to park when you arrive. Please share cars or get lifts where possible! :-) Thank you. A map and full address is on our homepage.
• Tea, coffee, biccies and afternoon cake are all included. Please bring your lunch with you - or you can nip out at lunchtime to buy something nearby if you prefer.
• You will receive a 10% discount in our shop "The Fluff-a-torium" on the day of your Embroidery workshop with Beth.
• This course runs from 10am - 4pm. Please arrive approx 10-15 mins earlier so we can start promptly! You can browse in the shop at lunchtime, or shop after the course as the shop is open until 5pm.

Please note : By booking one of our Wool Hand Embroidery on Knitting courses you are agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, which are as follows:

Booking a place on one of our courses is similar to booking a seat on a plane. It is not possible to swap and cancel and the "the plane must take off!"
Therefore should you need to cancel your place on a course for any reason, the cancellation charges are as follows:

Cancellation within 31+ days of course date = 50% of course fee payable unless place is re-filled.
Cancellation within 0-30 days of course date = 100% of course fee payable unless place is re-filled.
(Sometimes courses are over subscribed so we hold a waiting list and MAY be able to re-fill a place, but if you are unable to attend you are welcome to send someone in your place. Please let us know your replacement's name, phone number and email address as soon as possible before the course date.)

You can buy separate Course Insurance Cover from various companies online if you would like to protect yourself against no attendance. (Eg : Cancelsure Insurance)
