Cerise Wool Merino Tops - the perfect wool fleece for all your feltmaking and spinning adventures!

This beautiful merino wool is 23 micron / 64s, giving it a lovely soft texture that's a joy to work with.

Each 100g lot contains approximately 4-5 metres of continuous wool top. A really striking, jewel-like cerise, sitting beautifully on the purple end of the colour spectrum. It's a popular choice for adding a vibrant pop to any project.

Need more than 100g? Simply add the required number to your basket. For example, if you need 600g, enter '6' in the quantity box.

Important: If you'd like your wool in one continuous length (rather than separate 100g bags), please let us know in the "special instructions" box at checkout! We'll do our best to accommodate your request, although please be aware that there may occasionally be a join in the wool tops. If so, we'll include simple instructions on how to join it together, particularly useful for giant knitting or giant crochet projects.

For example, if you require 2 kilos of wool, please purchase 20 lots of 100g and specify that you'd like it as one continuous ball in the "special instructions" during checkout.

How Much Wool Do I Need?

Here are some handy guidelines to help you estimate the amount of wool tops required for your project:

Felting:

Felt Slippers or a Medium Felt Bag: Depending on size, approximately 75g of three different colours. So, treat yourself to three 100g bags in your favourite shades for creating those lovely felted layers.

Giant Knitting / Giant Crochet:

• Smaller regular sized cushion front: Approximately 500g
• Large Floor cushion front: Approximately 1.75kg
• Small blanket or throw: Approximately 2kg
• Medium blanket or throw: Approximately 3.5kg
• Larger blanket or throw: Approximately 5kg
