100g Cornflower Merino wool tops for felting & giant knitting

Dive into your next craft project with our beautiful 100g bundle of Cornflower Merino Wool Tops! This exquisite wool fleece is perfect for a variety of fibre arts, from the delicate art of wet felting and needle felting to the bolder strokes of spinning and giant knitting.

Our Cornflower shade is a true, delightful blue – just like the flower itself! It pairs wonderfully with our Pale Blue, Summer Skies, and Delphinium shades, allowing you to create stunning colour combinations in your projects.

Each 100g bundle contains approximately 4-5 metres of incredibly soft 23 micron / 64s Merino wool. The fine fibres make it a joy to work with, providing a smooth and even texture to your finished pieces.

Ordering Information:

Need more than 100g? Simply enter the number of 100g portions you require in the quantity box. For example, if you need 600g, just type "6" before adding to your basket. We want to make sure you get exactly what you need for your creative vision.

Important Note: If you'd prefer your wool to arrive as one continuous ball rather than separate bags, please let us know in the "special instructions" section during checkout. We'll always do our very best to accommodate your request, although please bear in mind that sometimes there may be a join in the wool tops. But don't fret! We'll include easy-to-follow instructions on how to seamlessly join the wool together, especially useful for giant knitting or giant crochet projects.

For example, if you require 2 kilos of wool, please order 20 lots of 100g and specify that you would like it in one ball in the "special instructions" at checkout.

Wool Top Usage Guide:

Wondering how much wool you'll need for your next masterpiece? Here are some general guidelines to help you plan:

Felting:

• Felt Slippers (pair) or Medium Felt Bag: Approximately 75g of each colour. We recommend buying 3 x 100g bags in different shades for layered felting.

Giant Knitting / Giant Crochet:

• Smaller Cushion Front (regular size): Approximately 500g
• Large Floor Cushion Front: Approximately 1.75kg
• Small Blanket or Throw: Approximately 2kg
• Medium Blanket or Throw: Approximately 3.5kg
• Large Blanket or Throw: Approximately 5kg
