Each 100g bundle contains approximately 4-5 metres of beautifully prepared wool. Our Kingfisher blue is a truly lovely shade – vibrant enough to catch the eye, but without being overpowering. We particularly adore how it blends with turquoise hues for stunning colour combinations.

We understand that sometimes a continuous length of wool is preferred. If you'd like your wool in one large ball rather than separate bags, just let us know in the "special instructions" box during checkout. We will always do our utmost to accommodate your request. Please note that, occasionally, there might be a join in the wool tops. Should this occur, we'll include instructions on how to neatly join it together, especially handy for giant knitting or crochet projects!

How Much Wool Tops Will I Need?

Here are some rough guidelines to help you estimate the amount of wool tops you'll require for various projects:

Felting:

• Pair of Felt Slippers or a Medium Felt Bag: Approximately 75g of each colour. We recommend buying 3 x 100g bags in different colours to create layered felted effects.

Giant Knitting / Giant Crochet:

• Smaller regular sized cushion front: Approximately 500g
• Large Floor cushion front: Approximately 1.75kg
• Small blanket or throw: Approximately 2kg
• Medium blanket or throw: Approximately 3.5kg
• Larger blanket or throw: Approximately 5kg
