A touch lighter than grey, this beautiful wool fleece is perfect for a whole range of exciting creations, from the delicate art of wet felting and needle felting to the bold statement of giant knitting and crochet.

Our silver wool tops boast a lovely 23 micron and 64s count, providing a wonderful texture and drape for your projects. Each 100g portion contains approximately 4-5 metres of archetypal mid-grey, silvery wool tops, ready to be transformed into something special.

Important Ordering Information:

Need more than 100g? Simply add the required quantity to your basket. For instance, if you need 600g, just enter "6" in the quantity box before clicking "add to basket."

If you'd prefer your wool in one continuous length rather than separate 100g bags, just let us know in the "special instructions" box at checkout. We will always do our best to accommodate your request!

While we strive to provide uninterrupted lengths, sometimes there might be a join in the wool tops. Don't worry, we'll include easy-to-follow instructions on how to join the wool seamlessly, especially useful for giant knitting or giant crochet projects.

For example, to order 2 kilos of wool in one ball, purchase 20 lots of 100g and specify your request in the "special instructions" during checkout.

How Much Wool Do I Need?

Here are some handy guidelines to help you estimate the amount of wool tops you'll need for your next masterpiece:

Felting:

• For a pair of Felt Slippers or a Medium Felt Bag: We recommend approximately 75g of 3 different colours. Why not purchase 3 of our 100g bags in varying shades to create beautiful felted layers?

Giant Knitting / Giant Crochet:

• Smaller regular sized cushion front: about 500g
• Large Floor cushion front: approx 1.75kg
• Small blanket or throw: approx 2kg
• Medium blanket or throw: approx 3.5kg
• Larger blanket or throw: approx 5kg
