2 hours Private E-Spinner Tuition: Get Spinning with Confidence! You've been watching the videos, perhaps even wrestled with the manual that came with your Ashford E-Spinner. But let's be honest, there's nothing quite like having someone experienced right there with you, showing you the ropes!

Who's Teaching?

You'll be learning from our wonderful shop manager, Jackie Harman. She has a knack for explaining the Ashford E-Spinner in a calm and understandable way, ensuring you grasp every aspect – from initial setup to spinning your very own yarn.

Where Will the Session Take Place?

Your private Ashford E-Spinner workshop will be held in person at our colourful studio, located right next door to the shop at The Gilliangladrag Fluff-a-torium in Betchworth, Surrey. (You'll find a handy map at the bottom of our homepage!)

Can I Do This Online?

If travelling to us isn't possible, we might be able to arrange a virtual private class via Zoom. Just be sure you have all the necessary equipment beforehand. Pop us an email to discuss the details.

When Can I Book?

We usually hold our 2-hour sessions on Mondays or Fridays during the day. However, we're often flexible and can try to arrange an alternative time if those days don't work for you.

Important Note: We can only arrange a date and time AFTER you've booked and paid for your private session. If, for any reason, we can't find a mutually convenient date, we'll happily refund you. Rest assured, we usually manage to find a time that works for everyone with no problems at all! Once booked, our regular Ts and Cs apply, and cancellations are not possible within 30 days of the agreed date. We'll send you confirmation of this date.

Can Two People Learn Together at the Same Price?

The price quoted is for one-to-one tuition, there will be an extra charge for a second person. For a second person to join, it's 50% extra to cover the additional costs. Simply book this session, and we'll invoice you for the difference. For larger groups, please see below.

What About Larger Groups?

For groups larger than two, we charge £50 per extra person for the 2 hours. (Maximum 5 students with 1 teacher – a total of 6!) Book this session, and we'll invoice you for the additional amount.

How Long Will I Need?

2 hours is normally plenty of time to get to grips with the E-Spinner and start creating your own yarn.

What's the Cost?

A 2-hour private Ashford E-Spinner session costs £80, inclusive of VAT. You'll also need to purchase some wool tops to work with. We highly recommend our own house blend wool tops – they create a wonderfully vibrant and multi-coloured yarn!

What's Included?

Your session includes:

• 2 hours of one-on-one tuition with Jackie, either using your own Ashford E-Spinner or one of ours. (Please note, we can only offer tuition on Ashford E-Spinners.)
• Refreshments: drinks and biscuits to keep you going.
• PLUS, you'll receive a fantastic 10% discount in our shop, "The Fluff-a-torium", on the day of your private Ashford E-Spinner session!
