Baby Dream Lux Touch 035 Berry Spray

Pretty, playful and wonderfully soft, Rico Baby Dream DK in 035 Berry Spray is one of those yarns that makes a simple baby knit look instantly special. The gentle colour changes create a lovely berry-toned gradient as you work, so your project gradually develops its own little pattern without any complicated colour changes from you. Because we know that baby knitting needs to survive more than just being admired, Baby Dream DK is machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle. No precious hand-washing required - hurrah! It's a particularly good choice for handmade gifts that need to be as useful as they are lovely.

The yarn has a 115 metre run length per 50g ball and works beautifully on 3.5-4mm needles, with a tension of 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10 x 10cm. The softly shifting colours are particularly effective in straightforward knitting patterns, allowing the changing shades to become the star of the show.

Planning something for a little person? As a useful guide, size 74/80 takes approximately 150g, although always check the requirements of your individual pattern.
