Baby Dream Lux Touch 039 Meadow Spray

The Meadow Spray colourway has a fresh, natural feel that's perfect for baby knits when you fancy something a little more colourful than a solid shade. Because the colours change as you work, even a simple stocking stitch pattern gets an extra bit of interest without you having to faff about with multiple balls or complicated colour changes. This yarn is part of Rico's A Luxury Touch range and is made from a soft and practical blend of 50% polyacrylic and 50% polyamide. It's wonderfully smooth and cosy against delicate skin, making it a lovely choice for baby jumpers, cardigans, hats, blankets and other little knitted treasures.

It's also designed for real life. Baby Dream DK can be gently machine washed at 30°C, so your finished creations can cope with the inevitable adventures that come with being worn by a small person. No precious hand-washing rituals required.

With 115 metres per 50g ball, this DK yarn works beautifully on 3.5-4mm needles and has a recommended tension of 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10 x 10cm.

Knitting for a little one in size 74/80? As a handy guide, you'll need approximately 150g, although do check your individual pattern for its exact requirements.
