You get to use two different fabrics, one for the outside and another for the inside, for a stunning, bespoke design. With our simple step-by-step instructions, creating a gorgeous drum lampshade has never been easier. We've designed the kit to be approachable for all skill levels, so whether you're a seasoned crafter or a complete beginner, you'll be amazed at what you can achieve in under an hour.

Your finished lampshade can be used as a pendant light fitting from the ceiling or on a suitable lamp base as a table lamp. The choice is yours!

What You'll Need to Add:

To complete your double-sided lampshade, you will need to provide your own fabrics.

• Two fabrics of your choice: Each piece should measure approximately 106cm long x 31cm deep. This gives you a little extra to play with when adhering to the panel. The panel size is 961mm x 210mm.

Fabric suggestions: Using two cotton fabrics works brilliantly. However, we don't recommend using two velvet fabrics as they can be too thick for a seamless finish.

Optional extras:

• 1m of narrow matching ribbon to conceal the joins for a super neat finish.
• Strong glue (such as Gem Tac) to secure the ribbon.
• 1m+ of tassel fringing to adorn the base of your lampshade for an extra flourish.

Please note: This kit contains everything you need to make one 30cm diameter double-sided drum lampshade, except for the fabric.
