It's incredibly satisfying to create gorgeous home accessories using our ultra-soft merino wooltops, and the best part is, projects grow super fast. I made a lovely blanket (or throw, or rug - take your pick!) in just over an hour, complete with wooltop pompoms - they're so simple to make!
Once you've finished crocheting or knitting, you'll have something that's not only beautiful but also incredibly warm. It's a brilliant way to add a touch of handmade charm to your living space.

Please Note: The amount of wooltops you'll need depends on your project and desired size, but here's a rough guide to get you started:
- 1kg of merino wooltops is perfect for a scarf or a small cushion
- 2kg is ideal for a giant floor cushion front, a small throw, or a small rug
- 3kg will create a slightly larger blanket, throw, or rug
- 5kg will give you a generously sized blanket or throw
Remember that dimensions will vary depending on the size of your hook or needles and your individual tension. I find it's best to keep your tension as loose as possible; this allows you to shape your finished piece more easily.
We have over 60 different colours available if you need to expand your palette, however our kit comes with 2kg of pure white.
Caring for Your Creation:
Look after your giant crochet or giant knitting project with care, and it will last for ages. Merino wooltops can be prone to pilling, but don't worry; you can easily pull these little bits off to freshen things up.
If you need to wash your project, do so very gently by hand in cold or lukewarm water, or it might felt.
