How Much Wool Do I Need?

The amount of wooltops required varies depending on your chosen project and desired size. However, here's a rough guide to help you plan:

• 1kg Merino Wooltops: Ideal for a scarf or small cushion.
• 2kg Merino Wooltops: Perfect for a giant floor cushion front, a small throw, or a small rug.
• 3kg Merino Wooltops: Enough to create a slightly larger blanket, throw, or rug.
• 5kg Merino Wooltops: Will provide ample material for a large, snug blanket or throw.

Remember that the final dimensions of your project will also depend on the size of your needles and your individual knitting tension. I find keeping my tension as loose as possible allows for easier shaping at the end.
