Go BIG on colour! Our hand-dyed Holy Fluff Super Chunky in FunkyTown is a gloriously squishy, seriously colourful yarn that's guaranteed to bring a bit of joy to your needles or hook.

Dyed by hand in our Betchworth studio, FunkyTown is a riot of bold reds, sunshine yellows, brilliant blues and flashes of fresh green, with playful speckles popping up throughout. In Super Chunky, those gorgeous hand-painted colours really get to show off, creating big, bold bursts of colour as you work.

And because this is Super Chunky, your project grows FAST. We're talking satisfying, chunky stitches that make it wonderfully addictive - perfect when you want to see your knitting or crochet take shape without spending approximately seventeen years making a cardigan.

Big, bold and beautifully squishy

Holy Fluff Super Chunky is made from 100% Superwash Merino Wool, with a lovely soft handle and a plump, roving-style construction. It's a dream for chunky hats, cosy cowls, statement scarves, snuggly blankets and anything else that deserves a generous dose of colour and texture.

FunkyTown is hand dyed in small batches, so every skein is gloriously individual. The colour placement will vary from skein to skein, meaning your finished project will have its own unique mix of colour and speckles. That's one of the lovely things about hand-dyed yarn - there are no boring uniform rows here!

It's also a brilliant choice if you fancy experimenting with colourful statement pieces, where you can keep the pattern simple and let the yarn do all the talking. We are very much in favour of yarn doing the heavy lifting.

This is a generous 200g skein (twice the weight of our Mrs Moon & Rico Super Chunky Yarn!).

• Recommended Needle or Hook Size: 10-12mm
• Approx Tension 4" square on 10mm = 9 stitches x 12 rows

A little hand-dyed yarn housekeeping

Because every skein is hand painted by us, no two skeins are exactly alike. Your FunkyTown skein will have the same delicious colour palette as pictured, but the precise distribution of colours and speckles will vary. For larger projects, we recommend alternating skeins every couple of rows to blend the colour changes beautifully.
