What You'll Learn

During this inspiring half-day workshop with Gillian, you'll discover:

• How to set up a safe and productive dyeing space.
• Essential yarn preparation techniques – what you need to do before the colour even touches the fibre!
• The secrets to mixing dyes, creating stunning colour combinations, and achieving unique effects.
• How to properly fix your dyes for long-lasting, vibrant results.
• The correct way to rinse and care for your newly dyed yarn.

What's Included

We've got you covered with all the essentials:

• Your very own set of dyes and fixer (worth £22) to use during the workshop and take home for future projects.
• 3 x 20g sock mini skeins (worth £7.50) to experiment with. Keep these as a reminder of the day and use them to create something special, or purchase more on the day for just £2.50 each. We also have a selection of 100g skeins and other un-dyed yarns available.
• A steady supply of tea, coffee, and other tasty refreshments.
• Detailed course notes to guide you through the process.
• A fantastic 10% discount in our shop, valid on the day of the course.

We will provide you with goggles, a mask, gloves, and mixing bottles to use during the workshop (these remain in the studio). All you need to bring is an apron to protect your clothes – and perhaps wear something you don't mind getting a splash of colour on!

Reserving your spot on this course is like booking a seat on a flight – it's essential we take off! Cancellations and changes are tricky.

Should you need to cancel for any reason, the following charges apply:

• Cancellation 31+ days before the course date: 50% of the course fee is payable, unless we can refill your spot.
• Cancellation 0-30 days before the course date: 100% of the course fee is payable, unless we can refill your spot.

We often have a waiting list, so we may be able to re-fill your space. However, you're also welcome to send someone else in your place. Please provide their name, phone number, and email address as soon as possible before the course date.

For peace of mind, you can purchase separate course insurance cover from various companies online (e.g., Cancelsure Insurance) to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
