Fancy learning a new craft together? Our "Learn to Spin Yarn" full-day private workshop is perfect for two people keen to delve into the wonderful world of yarn spinning.
With this private course, you'll both receive ample one-on-one attention and guidance. You'll each have your very own spinning wheel to work on throughout the day.
We'll take you through everything you need to know, starting with:
- An introduction to different types of wool and fibre.
- How to properly prepare your materials for spinning.
- A comprehensive overview of the spinning wheel and associated equipment.
The rest of the day will be dedicated to hands-on spinning practice using our lovely Lendrum Spinning Wheels. They truly are a joy to use!
Our private spinning courses are limited to a maximum of two students to ensure a personalised experience. The workshop runs from 10am to 4pm.
The cost is £240 for two people (the maximum number for this workshop).
All materials are provided, so you don't need to bring a thing. We'll also keep you fuelled with drinks, biscuits, and a delightfully British afternoon tea with cake. Because what's crafting without a cuppa and a sweet treat?
Bonus! You'll also receive a 10% discount in our shop, "The Fluff-a-torium," on the day of your course. Treat yourselves!
Important Booking Information
Please note that by booking a course with us, you're agreeing to our Terms & Conditions. We want to be upfront about these, so here they are:
Booking a place on our courses is similar to booking theatre tickets. We can't offer swaps or cancellations easily, as "the show must go on!" Therefore, should you need to cancel your place for any reason, the following charges apply:
- Cancellation 28+ days before the course date: 50% of the course fee is payable unless we can refill your place.
- Cancellation 0-27 days before the course date: 100% of the course fee is payable unless we can refill your place.
We often have a waiting list for our courses and may be able to refill your spot. If you can't attend, you're welcome to send someone else in your place. Please let us know their name, phone number, and email address as soon as possible before the course date.
