Fresh, soft and full of lovely changing colour, Rico Baby Dream DK in 038 Aqua Spray is a beautiful choice for little knitted projects. Part of Rico's A Luxury Touch collection, Baby Dream DK has been designed with softness in mind. The blend of 50% polyacrylic and 50% polyamide gives it a wonderfully smooth, extra-soft feel that's ideal for baby clothes and accessories, while also making it a practical yarn for everyday use.

And practical is definitely the word when it comes to washing. Baby Dream DK can be gently machine washed at 30°C, so those inevitable baby-related mishaps don't mean your beautiful handmade knitting has to live a complicated life. We like our baby knits to be enjoyed, not put on a shelf and admired from a distance.

With 115 metres per 50g ball, this DK weight yarn is suitable for a whole host of baby projects, from little cardigans and jumpers to hats, blankets and cosy accessories. Work it on 3.5-4mm needles for a lovely even fabric, with a recommended tension of 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10 x 10cm.

If you're knitting for a little one in size 74/80, allow approximately 150g as a useful guide, although your pattern requirements may vary.
