Sajou Cross Stitch Cushion Kit: Marie Antoinette's Pineapple (Small)
Create a piece of history with our Marie Antoinette's Pineapple cross stitch cushion kit, inspired by the opulent interiors of Versailles Palace. This beautiful design is part of our Museum and Heritage Collection.
Imagine yourself transported to the Queen’s Private Apartments, a serene haven away from the grandeur of the State Rooms. These intimate spaces, accessible through a discreet door in the Queen’s Bedroom, offer a glimpse into the Queen's personal life.
Recently restored, these Private Apartments, also known as the Interior Cabinets, boast a stunning indienne fabric known as the Queen’s Large Pineapple. Originally printed at the Oberkampf Manufacture in Jouy, the current version is by the renowned Maison Pierre Frey. Our cross-stitch design is a carefully reduced interpretation, creating an attractive repeat pattern perfect for embroidery.
This cushion design is taken from Sajou's stunning collection dedicated to indienne fabrics. We think you'll love creating this elegant and historical piece!
Finished Dimensions:
The motif measures 173 stitches wide by 173 stitches high. When stitched on the included 12 count linen, the finished design will measure 28.8 x 28.8cm. The completed cushion size is 28.8 x 28.8cm.
