Ready to craft your own wonderfully cosy felt slippers? Our re-usable polystyrene slipper lasts (or moulds!) are just the ticket. These size 30/31 (European) lasts will help you create perfectly shaped slippers every time.

These slipper lasts are ideal for wet felting. They're sturdy, re-usable, and will help you achieve a professional finish. Felting your own slippers is a rewarding experience, allowing you to create unique and personalised footwear.

Not sure where to start? Don't fret! I've created an online felt slipper course with over 1.5 hours of videos, showing you exactly how to make your own gorgeous slippers. The course comes with lifetime access, so you can learn at your own pace, and you can find it HERE.

With my guidance, you can design slippers in any colour or style that takes your fancy. Imagine snuggling up in slippers that are not only warm and comfortable, but also a true reflection of your personality!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much wool top will I need?

A: As a general guideline, for a medium-sized adult pair of slippers, you'll need approximately 3 metres of wool tops in each of three different colours. That's about 9 metres in total. Wool tops are usually sold in 100g bags, with roughly 4 metres per bag. So, purchasing 3 x 100g bags in different colours should be plenty. You might need a bit extra for larger sizes, and about half the amount for little ones! Consider adding some smaller amounts of mixed colours for decorative details, embroidery, or a simple felt flower.

Q: I'm in between sizes – what should I do?

A: Always choose the larger size! Remember, you can always shrink felt slippers to fit, but you can't make them bigger once they're made. It's much easier to adjust a slightly larger slipper than to try and squeeze into one that's too small.

Q: What else will I need besides the slipper lasts and wool tops?

A: To get started, you'll also require a mini bamboo mat, a large piece of netting. For added durability, I highly recommend using slipper soles. These will protect your slippers from wear and tear and help them last much longer. My personal preference is a combination of felt soles (for comfort and bounce) with suede soles on top (for grip and added protection).

Q: Is the online course the only way to learn? What about your book?

A: The slipper project is indeed included in my book, "Complete Feltmaking". So you can learn from there as well.
