Meet Cavalletta, a wonderfully warm shade in the Scheepjes Terrazzo range. We think you'll love this premium blend yarn, crafted from 70% Recycled Mulesing Free Wool and 30% Recycled Viscose. It's got some seriously good eco credentials, being Scheepjes’ first fully recycled fibre yarn. We're rather proud of it!
To give you peace of mind, Terrazzo has that all-important OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification, ensuring it’s safe and free from harmful chemicals. Good stuff, eh?
This felted tweed yarn has a luxurious feel and a fantastic drape. It's lightweight, warm, and the subtle speckled colour effect, reminiscent of terrazzo floors (hence the name!), is achieved by twisting fibres of contrasting and complementary colours together. A really smart design, if we do say so ourselves.
Terrazzo is perfect for all sorts of crochet and knitting projects, big or small. Think clothing like jumpers and cardigans, stylish fashion accessories, and even cosy homeware. We’ve found it’s particularly effective for colourwork, and it combines beautifully with other yarns, like our Kid Silk Mohair for a touch of extra fluffiness.
