These artisans meticulously hand-carve our designs, using skills passed down through generations since the Mughal era. Their craft provides crucial income, particularly after the recent impact on tourism.
When our contact reached out, I jumped at the chance to collaborate. It felt important to support these talented individuals and bring their beautiful work to you.
The designs I've chosen blend traditional motifs with more contemporary shapes. They're works of art in their own right and look fabulous on display when not in use!
What's Included
This Set 3 contains three traditionally carved wooden blocks:
- Large Polka Dot Heart: Approximately 7cm high
- Striped Scallop: Approximately 6.5cm wide
- Flower: Approximately 6cm wide
The blocks are carved from hard wood, and the printing surfaces are painted white for clear design definition. Cleaning is easy – simply wash with soap and water and allow to dry naturally.

For best results, we recommend using our textile paints, available separately. These blocks look fantastic printed on plain fabrics, or on our cotton gingham and stripe fabrics too.
